Booked queen ben suite for Sat night well in advance, c'card was charged and received confirmation email, bed config: queen bed, as per booking. Arrived 2.45pm but was given key to a twin single room. Despite confirmation email and being charged for the queen bed in advance, owner/mgr claimed twin single room was 'as booked'!
Subsequent treatment was grossly insincere and judgemental. No apology, owner denied responsibility for rectifying, advised us all other rooms and accom in Mornington booked out so tried to convince my wife and I to stay (initially at full cost) in the two single beds.
***Genuine accommodation providers would bend over backwards to make up for this (eg: 50% off, free breakky), NOT HERE THOUGH!!***
Drove back to Melbourne (45 min). Waiting on refund to appear on my c'card.
ABHORRENT SERVICE - GREEDY, JUDGMENTAL AND INSINCERE. Go elsewhere!
