December 2009 - novotel saga

We spent one night at this hotel in a pre paid room (booked online)
booking in was fine but it went downhill from there room was small and info etc missing . we got missing items by going to front desk
and requesting them small problem solved untill we went to have our evening meal inhouse we ordered the crispy duck but we got soggly raw duck our drinks were so watery that all you could taste was water
not great for $70 +
then when we booked out the real fun started
we were told the $100 security bond would be returned the same day.
rang next day told return by monday
rang monday told first 5 days then when l question this was told the manger would grt right on to it and would be returned asap
RANG tuesday again bit upset by now and was told money return today and manger sent faxx on monday please ring your bank so l did
found out bank had no faxes so bank person rang novotel to find out where money was while l was on hold
when she came back a talked to me it turned out that they were sending faxx to wrong number so as it stands we might have money returned tomorrow (WEDNESDAY)
so if you want good service nice food and much sleep DO NOT STAY THERE!
